Technical Program Manager, Content & Services Division

Our Content & Services development team is building a set of consumer web
services that will need to scale to millions of users. The team will
consist of credible and experienced consumer web services developers; SDET’
s and program managers who have shipped large scale complicated services.
Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience shipping large-scale web services
with a passion for the specification and design of scalable software. You
always keeps the customer in mind and you love to debug and solve complex
issues.
Responsibilities
· Break down high level deliverables into individual software components
and schedules
· Drive the specification of components for our services platform
· Run spec reviews and hold development and test teams accountable for
delivering to spec
· Work closely with the engineering team to deliver services platform
components on schedule and to specification
· Co-ordinate work streams across a globally distributed team
· Work with engineering to package components for deployment to the data
center
· Compile detailed release information for testing and network operations
· Participate in bug investigation and triage
Requirements
· BS or MS degree in computer science or engineering
· 5+ years program management experience in commercial web services or
large scale software development
· Practical experience with projects involving 4 or more of REST, JSON,
HTML, developing on Android, Web UI Frameworks (e.g. JSP, Pagelets, Rails),
.NET, RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), Google Protocol Buffers, ATG
Commerce Platform
· Familiarity with a range of software development lifecycles (e.g.
waterfall, SCRUM)
· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese an advantage but not necessary
· Role will require international travel |
