nexus和razr上上下下透着股山寨机的味，实际上几乎所有的android phone都差不多，
geek们喜欢，但消费能力更强的大妈们还是想追求点虚无缥缈的style的。另外nokia的
free gps对俺还是有一定吸引力的。

appeal would block the WP from entering into solid market share. I bet some idiot in Microsoft got credit on this abnormalty and get promoted to some upper management chain. Just because you find it "visually acceptable at best" doesn't mean most people will. Even though you think you can represent "most people".
And just because you don't "believe" something doesn't mean it's not a fact.
For cellphone market, it's all about distribution and marketing. Why do you
think Nokia doesn't sell in US while they were dominating the world a few
years ago? Do all the Nokia phones suddenly suck once they are shipped over
Atlantic?
Each OEM has very strict contracts with US carriers about the marketing -
clerk commission, store advertising footage, display presense, sales &
promotion.
It's typical for narrow-sighted IT民工 to think it's good enough to just
have a nice product, but that cannot be further from the truth. In fact,
most of the times product quality is less important than marketing.
