No, you wont get the interests but you can get the then-current value of the
GET when you request the refund.

than it has available, the Legislature would be required by state law to

does not rely on general state budget funds. The unit price is carefully
evaluated twice yearly to ensure that future college funds will always be
there for families who have enrolled their children in GET.
就算要bailout, 也不是全民公投。州议会就是加税，也不会让GET打水漂的。GET是小
头，州的债卷才是大头。要是GET的fundin都没法解决的话，谁还会买政府担保的债券
呢？孰轻孰重呢？ 了不起再加多些七七八八的税就是了。当然没有啥事是绝对的，两

问题。另一种就是get，有政府担保，即使是庞式骗局，只要不断有新血加入这种模式
就不会崩溃。
我的经验是，给小娃存教育基金最重要就是资金的安全。教育基金有两个特点：一是这
笔钱存放时限长，二是时限固定，到时候需要用钱了，是不能够等的，一定需要马上拿
出来。假设你固定每年存一笔钱到股市，需要用钱时如果碰上911那样的事或者08年的
股灾，一两年恢复不过来，小孩急等用钱的话就傻眼了。。。放各种group的529，现在
表现好的52918年后表现未必好？我给小娃买的第一种教育基金就是当时（小娃出生那
一年）市场上表现最好的，而且说是non profit blahblah... 现在发现本金都有危险
。毕竟风险和收益是成正比的，表现好意味着它家比较aggresive.虽然教育基金延税，
但收益都木有了谈什么税呢？
结论嘛，如果有一笔不多的钱，能买政府担保的买政府担保的。。。债券，基金，etc.
起码这钱不会打水漂（18年天知道发生什么事啊）。如果没政府担保，最好不要买
group的基金，钱自己管着，不比交了管理费让别人管着要好啊。自己管理也要分散投
资，不要把所有的鸡蛋放一个篮子里，买点指数基金买点债券，最好seperate一个单独
的account。
存教育基金还有一个最大的好处，如果父母感情不合离婚了，起码小孩的学费是单独存
下了，谁也分不到小娃的，不用到时扯皮。。。

话说当年有个朋友生小娃的时候买了间投资房准备18年后卖了给小娃当学费。现在翻5
番了，比投资GET好多了。基本是当年生娃收的红包再添点当首付，租金月供着，还有
正的cashflow. 不过离婚的时候这房子没分着，因为当初没写娃的名字，写得夫妻俩的
名字。基本上给娃的投资打水漂了。想好给娃的还是放娃名下比较好。

.... $500, payout needed $200x100. Too expensive for new comers ...
Then program will be in deficit. Next? ~$10000 each unit price? and $1 for
payout?
State designed this ponzi scheme. People contribute and withdraw from a
