Many Microsoft Executives, WA state and city officials, the General Consul
from the San Francisco Chinese Consulate, and local Asian community leaders
will attend this event to celebrate the most important Asian festival with
over 3000 attendees.
The Evening Show (6:30PM – 9:30PM) features over fifteen performances of
traditional and modern multidisciplinary arts, including:
• Sichuan Opera Company showcasing the world-famous "face-changing"
(变脸) technique where characters transform before your eyes without
changing costumes or makeup, "water sleeve" (水袖) dancing art, Chinese
musical instrument Pipa (琵琶), Sichuan magic tricks (魔术), and so on.
• Lucy Wu and Jeffrey Castle, masters of Jinghu (京胡, traditional
Chinese two-string fiddle) and six-string electric violin respectively, co-
presenting their musical collaboration: East-meets-West...
• China Super Boy 2010 North America Top 5 contestant Xiao-Chuan
Yang presenting bilingual freestyle rap, his latest EPs
• CHIME's Got Talent
• Chinese folk and classical dances presented by top Asian
performing art groups in the Greater Seattle Area
• Guzheng (古筝, a Chinese plucked zither) & piano duet
• And a lot more!
In the Afternoon Activities (2:30PM – 5:30PM), you will have great
opportunities to have fun with all kinds of interesting activities, as well
as to learn, experience, and enjoy the diverse Asian cultures. The
activities will include:
• Chinese calligraphy and traditional painting
• An amazing Chinese cultural exhibition, including Sichuan opera,
handcrafts, and Yunnan ethnic cultures (四川川剧和手工艺品展，云南少数民族文
化展)
• Silent auction
• Riddle competition
• Kinect games
• Poker, 三国杀, and other card games
• Kids’ activities (bouncing house, face painting, magician, etc.)
• Raffle tickets for a chance to win BIG PRIZES
• And much more!
For dinner (4:15PM – 6:15PM), we will have food from local Chinese
restaurants, with 3~4 different dinner combos from each restaurant. Free
samplings will be provided to early-bird dinner voucher holders while supply
lasts. We are also making logistics improvements based on last year’s
feedback.

• The entrance ticket for afternoon and evening performance is $15
each (plus online processing fee);
• The dinner ticket is $10 each (plus online processing fee).
In-Person Ticket Purchase with Microsoft Discount
• The entrance ticket for afternoon and evening performance is $10
each;
• The dinner ticket is $8 each;
• They are available only as In-Person purchase on Microsoft Campus
(cash is preferred)
Rules of Ticket Purchases:
- On-site ticket for afternoon and evening performance on event day will
be $20;
- On-site dinner ticket will not be provided on event day, so please
purchase it in advance;
- All ticket and dinner voucher sales are final and non-refundable;
- Children over 1.2m (4 ft) need tickets to enter (same price as adults).
Smaller children do not require tickets, but cannot occupy seats during the
evening show (they are welcome to sit on their parents’ laps). | W***u
