We have been monitoring our lakes over the last 48 hours since the alligator
sighting on Saturday in Lake ******. No sighting of the alligator either
in the water on on the shore has been made by club personnel or security
during this time. A licensed trapper is also keeping watch over the area for
any signs of alligator, and will continue to do so for the next 45 days. We
will be reopening the beach tomorrow for the 4th, but we still advise our
residents to use caution around the lakes within the community, especially
with small children and dogs.
FIREWORKS
Due to the number of homes in ****** that are in close proximity to the
numerous natural preserves that are located throughout the community and
that can be set alight by a stray firework, and also so not to scare the
many cats, dogs and species of birds and other critters who call ****** home
, the Board has prohibited the setting off of fireworks within the community
. We know that tomorrow is the 4th of July, but would ask you to go to
another location if you are planning to celebrate by setting off fireworks. | E*********h
