发帖数: 48 | 1 家里用的是Starhub MaxOnline 1500的计划。现在的计划一般都送一个Broadband
Wireless Router. 在Starhub上门安装时，没有进行必要的安全设置，结果是
很可能邻居也可以使用(在信号覆盖范围内)你的Router, 和你共享带宽，甚至能
管理你的Router。
以下是Router安装好后，几个需要自己更改的缺省设置, 以Linksys的Wireless-B
BroadBand Router为例。在IE中输入http://192.168.1.1，进入到管理页面。
1. 管理页面的初始passwd是"admin"(username为空), 如果不改，别人就可以进入
并管理你的router. 进入Administration->Management, 把密码改掉.
2. 进入Wireless->Basic Wireless Settings, 把 Wireless SSID Broadcast 禁
这样，别人就不能通过扫描来获得你的SSID,并连入(Windows安装Wireless card时
会扫描的，所以这个设置很重要)。在同一个页面里，有你的 | b****n

standard was just approved by IEEE two weeks ago, so there is no fully compl
iant products in the market yet. But some will be available pretty soon. |
