but I really enjoyed the experience.
Now, backcountry skiing gives me similar feeling when I tour in forest.

steeper slope allows gravity to do all the work. even steeper slope needs
some wedging or forceful parallel turns. turning direction at high speed
requires quicker and smaller stepping. The tolerance of mistakes is less
though at higher speed and it calls for higher inner-self confidence. my two
cents about skate skiing downhills :)
Having done it once is definitely not enough to be comfortable. The fourth
