Rossignal SAS 140Ti bindings at REI.com; got them mounted and took them to
skiing at Alta today. Man, is it float like a carrier on new powder but
crushes light crust like a tank. I had a lot of fun with it and enjoyed the
powder with an Alta ski instructor, whom I know for 20 years and lives just
few miles apart but never skied together.
I was never a gear head or rarely participated in gear discussions but I

Once back I will get a pair of 105-110 waist, just for good days. I can see
better fun factors driving that than my 99 Sugar Daddy in champaign deep

I just hurry got them from the mounting shop; headed to Alta straight, took
them out for pictures, and kicked them on for the powder. So I did not
realize that I got the left-right reversed in the picture. The ski
instructor told me so, then I looked at them again, just to see the graphics
actually match, when you get them right of course, ha,ha...

"If you can legitimately use this ski for everyday skiing, you're probably
a heli guide. For the rest of us, these skis are reserved for two-foot
dumps or more"
Here they were talking about true powder skis with the waist W=110-138cm.
Oh, BTW, the best in Skiing Mag's annual tests (at Snowbird, of course) is
K2 Pontoon 160/130/120， - two years in route. I've seen them at Snowbird, it
was totally odd-shaped than anything yo

4 skis for a quiver.
For example, for a 3 ski quiver, you may want one carving ski for speed, one
powder ski for the dump, one AT for the backcountry, and a twin-tip if you
feel like jumping. :-)

刚买了一副K2 Extreme twin tip，能滑各种情况，除了mogul。主要用它来练
backwards
和terrain park。
还有个snowboard，今年就没动过。
再打算买个短点的carving ski，练mogul。今年是没机会了。
