For a safe surfing on the net, make sure that
1. check your IE security setting such that downloading activeX is disabled,
at least change it to prompt. If you download Google toolbar, you can
prevent unwanted popups in most situations as well.
2. when you do get the problem, the first and most important thing to do
is to locate and delete the executable. Goto the task manager and
find the suspecious executable and terminate it. Then find it on
