本人生物在读研究生,对研究没有什么兴趣,尤其是对搞研究的前途感到迷茫。打算在
毕业之前再读一个本校的统计学双学位。老板同意了。这样在两三年毕业后,我就可以
有生物学博士和统计学硕士的双学位。:-) 在本版上看到很多人考SAS,我还没有详细
考古,不知道该不该考,也不知道生物统计尤其是有生物学博士背景的,工作会不会更
好找些?

communication skill. Your English level should be as good as an US teacher. |

told the rest of your life, sure you don't need good spoken English skill.
But to be a person with creative ideas, you need to convice your customers
that charging them $200 /hour for your service is well worth it. Writing a
SAS program is not hard, the hard part is to explain why you did it this way
and what makes your analysis better than others. |

university. We have a faculty search a couple years ago. Being a member of
the search comittee, I was so embarrassed to hear from the student
representative that he would not take any class from our foreign candidates.
I can also tell you that the American members of the search comittee
eliminated anyone with poor communication skills during the phone interviews
, even though they have strong research records.
