First way, follow text book,
A or B or C (item 5) = A + B + C - (A and B) - (B and C) - (A and C) +( A
and B and C) = 246+539+318-148-221-114+95= 715 (item 5)
which is correct.
But now I want to try it this way, A or B or C (item 5) =
(A=1 and B=0 and C=0) + (B=1 and A=0 and C=0) + (C=1 and A=0 and B=0)
+(A=1 and C=1 and B=0) + (A=1 and B=1 and C=0) + (B=1 and C=1 and A=0)
+(A=1 and B=1 and C=1)
=59+196+78 + 19+45+124+95=616
Why is the second wrong? Thanks

i think u copied the wrong number...thats it..
