发帖数: 2836 | 10 沒必要強調只有兩年吧。除非好幾十年，不過好幾十年了也不會強調會SAS這一點了。
我覺得現在統計master都會SAS吧，沒必要獨立一條來顯示。你既然project多就多寫
project。正如前面所說的你這些qualification，skill，反反復複的寫沒必要，讓人
覺得你沒啥好寫。

purpose, result and tools(approach), does not mean you need to put
exact world 'purpose', 'result' there. Also tools not only mean which
language/toolbox you use, but the idea and way.
If course project, not necessary to list so many. And do not use 'project 1'
For your postdoc, either did not list it or put something short but show
your analyze skill. for 4 years, it is too short.

我看了的感觉就是一个统计MASTER，有SAS证书。那些qualification的都是空话，纯粹
就是凑字数用的。WINDOWS和UNIX的经验用10年和1年没啥区别吧。而且谁不会用呢。我
说的是实话，希望楼主不要生气。
感觉简历应该针对SAS PROGRAMMER再修改。那个project，写purpose和results都没啥
用，要不你调查下板上有谁仔细阅读了？估计重点还是看在你的那几个SAS命令上。要
说statistician，每个公司对这个定义不一样，大公司的一般要找PHD，现在PHD还那么
多没工作，小公司呢，其实和SAS PROGRAMMER要做的差不了多少。
对我来说，简历上最吸引我眼光的是第二页，SAS MACRO, SQL， 我觉得如果我招PROGRAMMER，我
会因为这个给电话面试的。

to disregard class projects and not appreciate the efforts involved:
One needs to come up with interesting research questions, with available and
usable data, try using fancy methods which makes you hair stand, and write
up a clean and beautiful document. It is just not easy.
If I were a recruiter, I will surely ask lz for class project samples.

稀疏，字体极大，主要就是一张表。里面包括联系方式，毕业学校，毕业年月，还有在
什么什么单位做过什么position，完了。他也面了不少，也fail了不少，H1b名额用完
前终于进了一家小投行，跳槽N次，现在混的极爽。 |

parse以后的text cloud的一眼看上去的结果是楼主要找SAS programmer。 其实SAS
programmer做的都是data。简历里面基本没有提到整data。而且提到的proc也不太对，
比如proc plot早就淘汰了。所以楼主对SAS的理解不够深刻，找SAS programmer很快就
会 filter out了。
就像楼上海兔大侠的，楼主有phd，绿卡，工作经验，找的应该是 statistician 的工
作。 |

- it's complete crap. You can say that in a cover letter, but putting that
in a resume only distracts the reader (HR or hiring manager) from finding
your real, position-related skills and qualifications. Remember an HR only
spends like 10 seconds browsing a resume, so I always suggest write a resume
in a way that gives the reader as much USEFUL information as possible
within that amount of time.
