data/questions, and he/she wants to know if the data can answer the
question(s) of his(her) interest. a qualified statistician should be able to
understand what exactly the client wants, outline a plan of analyses (or
design an experiment), analyze the data, and explain the results to the
client. some statisticians in industry also do research by developing novel
statistical methodology, but most others are basically consultan |
