It's been a wonderful period for me since end of March up to date. My option
account return is about 300% and my stock account return is about 35%
during this period. I do made a bad bet in early January on AAPL earnings
that lost 80% of original capital when the option positions closed. Luckily
the capitals committed in that trade is not very large. This round of trades
made up all the money lost and boosted my year to date return significantly

I am using general terms in financial industry. Buy-side refers to asset
managers like mutual funds and other large intituential invetsors(pension
fund). Sell-side refers to invest banking and trading division of large WS
banks.
Don't get confused here and think that buy-side analysts only issue buy
recommendations and vice versa.
