So I take the rate change very serious
and clean my positions in my short term account
after-hour.
People may argue, rate rise is bad for short-term,
but good for long term, balabala...
But that is not worth a bet.

That is why I reduced my long positions after hour.
However, it did catch my attention that the price action of material and
engery ETFs has moved in a measured manner; in other words, there was no
rush-to-the-fire-exit kind of sell pressure.
Caution is clearly in order here. But, wouldn't there be a possibility that
we might have overracted to some degree?

I think 大夫 probably read it all wrong. I now suspect the rising in the
past few days was Fed's plunge protection team at work. They wanted to
raise the rate that would for sure spook the market so they sent out PPT
at first to goose it up b4 the announcement. That way it wouldn't sell
off too hard.
