I do not bottom fish index, but when DOW below 10000, many on my watch list
are down big too.
depends on my confidence on each stock, I either sell rebound, or sell a
part to lower cost, and hold the rest.
For long term part, I have been holding FAS and QLD short for months, and I
also hold XOM/T/VZ/FE etc tight.

But I look at things from a different perspective.
As I said before, I hold two ends of the market: the high dividend blue
chips such as XOM, T, VZ, FE, and the losers of all losers such as solar and
shipping stocks. I believe the current stock prices is already below the
fair value. If it will go lower with the broad market, fine with me, it only
gives me another chance to buy more.
On the other side, I hold short of FAS and QLD, both of which will de
