Here are my reasons:
1) Near the end of year, big money on wall street is leaving and taking
profit. Right now price's fluctuation is caused by many individual investors
. Which means market has no up or down trend power.
2) GLD as a risk-avoided investment product, that's the best place to place
money. Of course, another choice is holding cash.
3) From TA's view, GLD is reaching a very strong support(50SMA) on an up
trend. Low risk entry point.
SO, buy GLD.
For airline, I look bear for the whole sector for a long term.
1) Oil price will increase next year, airline's cost increase.
2) A recent analysis said "airline company is like dancing on the edge of
blade", so just short from high. | Z****g

Dollar has bottomed. Oil price might go up but should be moderately higher.
airline won't be as high as this year, but won't collapse either if the
recovery continues.
