retirement plan provider. So do you mean Bond is better than inflation
linked bond?

All government bond is paying you an interest rate lower than the real
world inflation, which is why you need to move to sth that can hold the
purchasing power.
Gold is deeply suppressed by pan-West government that it will not only
just guard your purchasing power but also appreciate dramatically once
the suppression inevitably fails.

It's based on understated CPI so you don't get protection from it.
