Question:
One strange thing is around 4:00pm today, there was a huge volume
(150k+) which drove the price down, and after hour there were many hands
(100k, 30k, 23k shares) happened at $9.71
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/ecyt/time-sales which is the last price.
Have you ever seen this before? Does it mean institutions are buying
shares from the company at this price? since the price did not go down
at all, normally if there's such huge volume then there would be a huge
price drop.

at just above 10, which was gunned by the MMs so the
price shot up, triggering more buy stop orders, some
were meant to cover short positions, culminating in
a peak of 10.3x at 11 minutes before market close.
MMs then took the price down, which then panicked the
new buy stop longs, who then put a stop loss order at
just under 10.2 and with others at just under 10.
These stops were then gunned as MMs took price lower,
triggering sell/short orders which MMs then picked up
at 9.74. The MMs then ran the price up, forcing short
cover at 9.95 level and also attracting long purchase
at that level with longs setting stop loss at about
9.90.
The stops were gunned again, triggering a very large
sell order which MMs allow to drop down to below 9.7
when then triggered still more stop loss orders and
which MMs then used to cover their shorts at 9.68.
In all about 150K shares were involved and the MMs
made about $90K in 11 minutes.
My guess is that the MMs are now probably more than
flat at this time and has gone from net heavily short
while above 10.3 to somewhat long at 9.68. Therefore,
chances are good MMs will take in more shares in after
hours panic selling by the easily panicked bulls, but
will at least run up the price fractionally early next
week to unload what they have accumulated at today's
lows for still more profit. | j******y
