BAC settled lawsuits, kicked out most Countrywide staffs who were
responsible for bubbles/fraud practices. These two events incurred large
expenses. BAC down is also expected.
But most companies are strong: energies, retail, manufacturering, housing,
etc. Just a few companies reported expected lower earning should not stop
the stock marching ahead to reach new highs.
