of them were forced to cover by my brokerage firm within weeks even for
stocks like BAC.

没有试过不用margin short的情况，从来都带着margin short的。

你列的这几个股票几个是Nasdaq100的,几个什么也不是的.这类股票跌起来好象会有垂
直降落,百分比也大.那些进入Dow的,S&P500的好象会平缓一些. | y*******o

I often sell covered put option so that if the broker covered my short, I
will be margin call. My short never be covered by broker, but I never short
a stock more than 2 months
