标 题: 请问RSU的settlement period是怎么回事？

股票快要vest了，但是收到brokerage的notice里面说道：
Vesting and the three-day settlement period
On the date your RSU vests, the time restriction on the award “lapses,”
initiating a process to deliver shares to your individual brokerage account.
The share delivery takes three market days (the three-day settlement period
or T (trade day) + 3). The three-day settlement period ends at close of
market on the third market day following the date the vest is processed, so
you can expect to see your shares in your account four market days after
that date. Vests falling on a weekend or holiday are processed the next
market day. Keep in mind that employee status changes may affect the vesting
of awards.
是不是意味着如果股票vest后的第一天或者第二天就是在公司的last day的话，股票其
实是拿不到的？
本来计划那个时候走的，基本上都安排好了，完全不知道还有settlement period一说

意思是只要是vest了，就没问题。
Keep in mind that employee status changes may affect the vesting
of awards.
所以如果有问题，问题不在T+3，在于离开公司的决定如何影响T。
