事实上卖的好的话,是可以降低风险的(vs. buying stocks directly). 我卖的每一个
put都是做了把股票买进来的最坏的打算的.

A lot of the times, when puts get more expensive, it meant something bad
which our individual investor could never know in advance might have already
happened. I guess your friend might have instead thought it as a good
opportunity to collect more insurance premium. :)

Yes, pretty much.
I often sell naked call first. If the stock price is higher than my option
price, it will be converted to short, then I keep selling put until I made
enough money to close my short position and put.

mention those crazy bull stocks such as PCLN, CMG, which from traditional
valuation stand point has been way over-valued but kept going up.
Who could foresee that FB rallies from $20 to over $50 in such a short
period of time?

can make over $10B/year. Their profit is protected by patent
and government regulation(it is not easy to get new medicine/equipment
approval from government). They consistently have dividend and stock buy
back program.
Does AMZN and FB have dividend or buy back program ?
Actually, they have to issue more shares every year as employee stock
options ?
Take a look at Oracle yesterday earning report.
It made $2.6 net income(with $9.3B revenue) last quarter,
it has dividend and buy back program too. Its market cap
is only around $160B.
Can AMZN and FB make that amount of money in 3 years, or 5 years ?
Perhaps, not be able to make that amount of money even in 10 years.
