wait for the low point to appear, and long the direction of the next trend.
just as what happened in TSLA. once i recognized that the low point had
appeared on in late Nov, look for the opportunity to go long and stay with
long side. Start with a small position and plan for long term. there will be
several key technical level to observe if GRPN finished the correction and
start making higher highs, each one will be a good opportunity to increase
holding.
The FA of GRPN has not changed. the mobile business is gaining traction.
Acquiring business in current environment is expensive - think about 18b
paid by FB. but it is necessary for continue high growth. 5 years ago
business is bleeding money and can't give themselves away. but now is a
different world. Just like foreclosures. The keys are of course if those
acquisitions actually contribute to the meaningful growth of top line, and
eventually bottom line. |

continue uptrend to the new high is greatly dimished, that's why i sold a
very close wkly call on 1/7. by 1/9 the reverse is confirmed. but i didn't
want to sell the stock and leave the naked shorted call position which is
going to interfere with my margin. besides, 1/10 may see a rebound on OE day
. Once it died. i sold stock next monday morning.

to digest the gain. Most bullish formation will be a short retrace to 1800
and form the right shoulder of a REVERSED H&S pattern before reaching new
high. So I would take some profit here and leave some cash on hand. It's
common also spx consolidate within a tight range between 1825-1850, that is
also considered bullish. However, one should see leading stock breaks out of
stages to indicate future market direction. And it's pretty safe to chase
high with this kind of combo. Just as I did on DIS back in last Nov. double
top break down is unlikely.

after taking some large profit on TSLA, GMCR etc, I have 25% in cash. But

correction and price action is getting tight, which is bullish. i just don't
see any potential theme to propel it for a sustained run to 70s. compare
to the old 2k big tech. MSFT is the most bullish. HPQ is another.

continue uptrend to the new high is greatly dimished, that's why i sold a
very close wkly call on 1/7. by 1/9 the reverse is confirmed. but i didn't
want to sell the stock and leave the naked shorted call position which is
going to interfere with my margin. besides, 1/10 may see a rebound on OE day
. Once it died. i sold stock next monday morning.

rim. Whether full margin, half cash, depends on your trading frequency. I
take profit fairly quick and always maintain some cash level. This week
after taking some large profit on TSLA, GMCR etc, I have 25% in cash. But

giant correction. second, it's gyration is too wide compare to it's
potential profit target. so i'd leave it alone. with that said. it's in the
end of a huge flat
correction and price action is getting tight, which is bullish. i just don't
see any potential theme to propel it for a sustained run to 70s. compare
to the old 2k big tech. MSFT is the most bullish. HPQ is another.
