No major economic news over the weekend.
U.S. reported the in-line April personal income (+0.4%) and core PCE price (
+0.2%) and better than expected Personal spending (+1.0%). The probability
of rate hike in coming months (June or July) moved higher.
European markets trade lower across the board. China's Shanghai Composite
spiked up 3.3% on speculation of being included in Emerging Markets Index.
As the last day of May, today is very likely to be a window dressing day. U.
S. stocks are expected to traded lower on capital rotations. |
