(Reuters) - U.S. smartphone chip manufacturer Qualcomm Inc (QCOM.O)
considers the prospect of an acquisition of NXP Semiconductors (NXPI.O) as
closed, the company said on Monday.
“While we were grateful to learn of President Trump and President Xi’s
comments about Qualcomm’s previously proposed acquisition of NXP, the
deadline for that transaction has expired, which terminated the contemplated
deal,” a Qualcomm representative said via email. “Qualcomm considers the
matter closed.”

从外交部的回答看来，其实没有任何改善，只是双方暂停一下都冷静一下，可能小惠小
利有一点点，但是实质的外交部咬定没有任何协议签署需要进一步协商
