For tax year 2010 return,
the property tax to fill on the return is year 2009 property tax (paid in
2010)? or year 2010 property tax?

other house-related deductions incl mortgage int, state tax w/h, charitable
donations, just to name a few.

If your standard deduction is higher, you might still use the standard
deduction.
I tried the Turbotax online, and get higher deduction when using itemized
deduction.
