Dear XXX,
You're almost done preparing your taxes! You only have a few more steps to
complete the e-file process.
You need to check your federal return status within the H&R Block
program. Once you check your status, you'll receive your Declaration Control
Number (DCN). This DCN is your proof the IRS has processed your return. We'
ll give you instructions for how to save and print your return, along with
your DCN, for your records.
What's Next?
Connect to the Internet, then open your H&R Block software program.
From the My Taxes screen, choose the return you e-filed. Make sure to
choose the return you transmitted -- not a duplicate copy.
Click Check Status, next to the file's name.
Follow the instructions provided to make any necessary corrections.
If you've navigated away from the Check Status screen, you can check the
status by following these steps:
Make sure you're in the correct return (the one you transmitted).
Go to the File menu, then click Check Status.
