the previous one by Sony died
no, I don't think any game will be a successful just because of the brand
name. fan base will spark initial interest but at the end it's the game
and the in-game community that matters.
Lord of the Rings Online, D&D online, both have huge fan base but only
very mild success, no where close to de-throng WOW

different genres and on different platforms. that lays solid ground work for
sth bigger. star wars RPG like KOTOR are quite fun to play.
what kind of LOR games there were before the online game came out? i only
remember a RTS.
