out like crazy.
remember cook's last remark at the keynote... we're just getting started.
For years, gaming companies spent lots of efforts dealing with so called "
anti-aliasing" because GPU cannot render at high resolution AND pixel
intensity of display is not high enough. There is no such AA hardware
support in iPad. When a day has come that pixel intensity is so high that
you don't see individual pixels, there's no need to do anti-alising IF games
are rendered at screen resolution and GPU are powerful enough to supper
that. And games are gonna look more awesome than ever.

这个thread还是有些明白人的。有人提到高分辨对提高字体效果有明显作用,应该有道
理。游戏么,老texture upscale了够唬弄果粉了。

为毛他没有明白苹果都是一中关村装机铺捎带雨木风林呢?
苹果又不设计显示芯片
为毛别的机器用的显示芯片就不能支持高分
而苹果的可以?

在CPU没有跟上的情况下 = nothing
当然只玩翻牌这种游戏的当我没说。

高清屏对game没帮助是可以预期的,game是动态画面,1024X768也已经是高清了,在10
寸屏上面,分辨率是够高的。在46寸屏这个分辨率看电视什么的也已经很爽,提到
1080p的提高很有限。
其实限制因素在于人眼,人对动态画面的分辨率远远低于对静态画面的分辨率,做个实
验就懂了,那本10寸的书,确保能认清上面的字,然后翻页,移动书每秒20寸,相当于
2fps的速度,再来读读上面的文字就懂了。高清屏的好处更重要的是静态图像,照片,
设计图纸,文字之类。所以玩游戏指望高清屏有帮助有点缘木求鱼,更重要的是实时渲
染的算法和数据。
