Interesting. Even New York Times strives for political correctness. Today (a
day later), in both the web edition and print edition, the title is changed
to "Feasting at the Table of Taipei."

I misspoke. The title in the web edition was changed to Taipei, but that of
the print edition remains the same ("the other China"), with a subtitle: A
Culinary Pilgrimage to Taipei, the Other Chinese Capital You May Not Hear
Much About This Year.

As we can expect, a Taiwanese protests to New York Times for calling Taiwan
"the other China" as appears in the print edition (the web edition was
quickly changed).
