Yesterday I did not place the report on Prof. Sutter's comment prominently,
becasue (a) I could not find the transcript of the speech, (b) I wondered
how authoritative the speech was.
Although I knew that Georgetown University, thanks to its campus in the
capital, is the breeding ground of many US officials and diplots in
particular, thanks to its noted Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.

My comment: Yesterday I was wondering where US (as well Japan and S. Korea)
defense line might be, if Taiwan is deemed lost (under the Ma
administration). Guam, that is, according to this report--the second island
chain (Taiwan is part of the first island chain).
