I am an African-American woman who agrees with Geraldine Ferraro. What she
said is true. A significant number of African-Americans are voting for Barak
Obama simply because he’s black, while young white Americans support him
because it the cool-hip thing to do. Yes, these are very superficial reasons
but that’s why he is getting the vote. It has nothing to do with his
political agenda which most people that vote for him cannot tell you what is
