to keep my eye on the ball on my groundstrokes and it seems to help a lot.
But I still have a couple of questions regarding this matter and hope
someone will share his/her experience:
1. On volleys, do you keep eye on the ball all the time, or watch your opp's
movement when hitting. Sometime the speed of the ball is so fast that I
usually just react. When I have time, I usually follow the ball and prepare

I do not have the ability to read the bounce of the balls precisely. By
watching the ball my consistency improved a lot. You can still catch a
glimse of your opp if you keep the ball in front of you.
On volleys, though, it is togher to watch the ball and your opp at the same
short time. I just saw a picture of Tommy Haas volleying with his eye on his
opp when he hit the volley.

some reasons. i want to add one more. the contact points for groundies are
pretty consistent. however, in volleys they spread everywhere and most of
the times you have to hit them while you are running, stretching or bending.
excessive head movement will disrupt your total body balance. so ppl might
feel awkward to keep their eyes on the ball every volley. anyway, volley is
not like groundie because the swing is much more
