long time. Ever since 2010 AO, his only good performance was during the
Master Cup last year. I seriously doubt if he can still regain his game--
the thing is, he has a lot of problems nowadays that will prevent him from
obtaining another GS. Other than his single-handed backhand, he
1) returns badly
2) does not serve well in key points--easy games for him hardly come by
and he needs to maintain high level of play in order to keep his serve
games.
Just came to realize maybe his days are over. Any thoughts? |

age, or stubbornness. His best shot this year will be Wimbledon. We will
see what happen there.
He can still make brilliant shots here and there. But tennis nowadays has
become so much a baseline game. If he cannot sustain the rally,
particularly the crosscourt rally, like Djoker did to Nadal two days ago,
then he will need a super good day, meaning making a lot of risky shots, to
defeat any of them.

during the semi between Federer and Nadal that why Federer refused to
step back a bit when returning Nadal's serve. He's always trying to
half-volley Nadal's shots by standing on the baseline. He trys to hit
fast and end the points quick, no way that will lower UEs.

至于老费，我1月说过，只有在豆子，小九都翻船的情况下有戏，同时还要堤防悟空，
而且这个窗口不大，很快又有新人出现，比如小绕，哈里森，小歪脖，另外一些不新不
老的人也说不定会人品爆发，比如索得林，鸟人什么的。
老实说，最近1-2年才是网坛进步的表现，百花齐放，长江后浪推前浪。

Agree. What's even better is that the top players all share enough
respect to one another and they do not have scandals off the court.
Might have some rare moments losing control on court, but overall
they behave themselves well. That makes tennis really a gentlemen's
sports.

a lot of routines and is almost always the latter one to get up onto the
court. Many players are not happy about that but they get over it because
Nadal is just that kind of person and he is not doing this against anyone.
But Murray decides to get up later than Nadal, maybe as a way to disturb
Nadal. If you watch their match you will notice this. He should give up
those little tricks, as they are childish, and would not help him have the
right attitude.

Lendl差不多比Federer大21.5岁，现在的Federer和1991年的Lendl有可比性。
Lendl 24岁时候才第一次夺得GS. 老费稍微好点，22岁不到一点。
Lendl 1990年最后一次夺得澳网，此后一直到1994年退役，再也未夺冠。
老费目前最后一次夺冠为2010澳网。
1991年Lendl夺得澳网亚军和美网4强。2011年目前老费夺得澳网4强。
此后老费到底走Lendl路线还是老桑路线，偶们不得而知。
