Premier tournaments differ. Beijing is the same level as Miami. Tokyo is
lower.
As of 2012, Premier events include:
Four "Premier Mandatory" events in Indian Wells, Key Biscayne, Madrid, and
Beijing with prize money of $4.5 million.
Five "Premier 5" events in Dubai/Doha, Rome, Cincinnati, Toronto/Montreal,
and Tokyo with prize money of $2 million.
Twelve "Premier" events with prize money of $600,000 to $1,000,000.
Season-ending WTA Tour Championships, with a prize money of $4.45 million

wanted to be strict in terms of tournament prize money and ranking points.

从奖金和积分来说北京和miami的确是同级别的
不过iw和miami感觉还是比北京稍微大一点因为这两个和grand slam一样是从R128开始
打的，所以要两个星期，而马德里和北京都是从R64开始打的。
说他们是the fifth grand slam也部分是因为这个原因吧

金很高，不过还是500赛事。
R64的1000赛事貌似不怎么牛啊。

发帖数: 30533 | 12 ATP masters中，IW和Miami都是96 draw, 也就是说夺冠需要至少赢6场。
剩下所有的masters，除了Paris，都是56 draw, 夺冠需要至少5场。
Paris是48 draw, 夺冠也需要至少5场。
