racquet if you have good strokes and be able to track the ball... the feel
is great, but it's very demanding....

that level yet. I'm in the market for both him and myself (w3.5 at best for
me). Kind of confused as to which rackets to buy...any suggestions? demo
doesn't really work for me, as it just confuses me more. currently using
Wilson juice 100

发帖数: 150 | 4 juice 100 is good for you, it's firm stable forgiving and easy power. You
really have to be able to swing out with 6.1, but when you do, it's very
powerful and you are able to control it. With juice if you really try to
swing out, the ball may fly on you... For tennis you really want to swing
out as much as you can while still staying relaxed and have the proper
control with your mechanic. This is difficult to do with beginners. With 6.1
it's almost like know exactly where the ball going to land, with juice 100
I would know the area where the ball is going to land...
Wilson steam series might be good for you too, i never tried it myself...

m 1.65).
he definitely hits with a lot more power as well. breaks strings fairly
often.
when playing full sets, he usually bagels me, but tiebreaker sets are hard
to say.
I wonder if steam or 6.1 may help him more. Several coaches recommended
Babolat before, but I heard it's stiff and may develop tennis elbow so we
never tried.

发帖数: 6788 | 6 The only reason that the 2012 version of 6.1 95 is $99 now on TW is because
there are two newer (2013, 2014) versions out. All versions are essentially
the same other than paintjob.
There are quite a few Steam variations. I guess you're looking at Steam99
and Steam96. The other ones are still around $160.
I'd suggest to get BOTH 2012 6.1 95 16x18 and Steam 99. You can probably
find both for around $80 apiece on Amazon or Ebay. The best way for you and
your kid to experience and find the best fit is to actually have these
rackets, string them the same, and bring both to the court multiple times
and play some serious tennis with both(not just try it). | f*******s
