been filled. Now I am helping my supervisor to post another position. This
position requires mechanical engineering background with material science
and manufacturing knowledge.

Below is the job description:
Qualifications:
• M.S. with 3+ years of industrial experience or Ph.D. in
mechanical engineering or solid mechanics.
• Experiences in finite element analysis and mechanical design.
• Familiarity with metallic and non-metallic materials.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process.
• Ability to apply theories to solve practical problem.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal direction.
• Effective communication with different groups.
Position Overview:
Optimize mechanical design and manufacturing process by performing finite
element analysis under mechanical and thermal loading. Identify root cause
of failure and establish design standards. Conceptualize, design, validate
and test new components of drill bits for challenging application. |
