Hiking Trail: Huntsville State Park http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/huntsville/
Huntsville State Park is in the north of Houston. Google maps shows that it
is 80-miles or 1.5-hours' drive from China Town. The park is closed almost
all this week on weekdays for public hunts and is open
to public during the weekend for hiking. It will be sunny this weekend
according to the weather forcast http://www.weather.com/ ). The map of trails can be found in the following link http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/pwdpubs/media/park_maps/pwd_mp_p4505_044d.pdf. We will take the Chinquapin trail loop which is 6.8 miles.
Entrance Fee: $5 per person, or free for whole car if presenting a state
park pass. I will take my pass, and pls take it if you one.
Plan:
8:40 Gathering/arrange the carpool/heading for the park (Chinese Lutheran
Church (西南国语教会)/12143 Bellaire Blvd 77072)
10:30 Gathering at Park headquarters
10:45 start hiking, having a simple lunch around noon.

1. When you join the hiking, everyone should get yourself ready for that
include enough food and water/enough rest/hiking shoes/long sleeves covering
arms and legs/emgerncy medicine if you need it or anything else you might
need in the forest.
