标 题: 德州驾照过期后，还能renew不？

H-1B上月底到期，所以驾照也是同时过期。H-1B renew的申请早送上去了，但一直没出
结果。我自己又忙，想当然以为驾照延期会有grace period（有些州是有一到两个月的
时间）,就没在驾照过期前去driver's license office。结果一晃，驾照过期20天后，
今天H-1B终于下来了。但我上网一查，才发现德州驾照必须在过期前renew,过期后没有
grace period.这意味着我要重新路考，太痛苦了。。。有没有谁有类似经历的？是不
是一定要重新路考没得商量啊？ |

在你给的页面里清清楚楚写着：
Expired License
As long as your license hasn’t been expired for more than two years, you
can usually renew using one of the same methods as listed above:
Online
By mail
1-866-DL RENEW (1-866-357-3639)
In person
If your license has been expired for more than two years, you must start
over again as a first-time applicant, and this includes taking every
required test.
You can find out if your license is expired, and for how long it’s been
expired, when you check your driving record.

？还是只能重新考了啊？？
