Skills and Techniques:
♦ Semiconductor device fabrication process: Developed new methods for
quantum dot device fabrication and characterization; Conducted and
Optimized the fabrication process.
♦ Fabrication and Characterization techniques: 5 years hands-on
experience with: Photolithography, Electron Beam Lithography (EBL), Reactive
Ion Etching (RIE), Thin film Deposition, Wire Bonding, Semiconductor Device
Packaging, Atomic force microscopy (AFM); Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM
); Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM); Fourier Transform Infrared
Microscope (FTIR), etc.
♦ Device testing: Designed and Conducted independent experiments for
semiconductor device testing: probe station, differential conductance
measurement, C-V, I-V measurement, etc.
♦ Fab Maintenance: 3 years maintenance experience with DR, AFM, etc.
and lab preventative maintenance.
♦ Model Simulation: Simulated electronic states in quantum dots and
the electric transport in measurement circuits.
♦ Programming: Mathematica, Matlab, LabVIEW, C, NEMO (Nanoelectronic
Modeling)
