针对至少数万人的要求，白宫终于回复了！通篇避重就轻，有如媒体巨鳄abc的官方发
言人，令人无语。
一位三番群的朋友对信件内容总结如下：下午4:35收到白宫请愿网站(或称白宫民政局
，或白宫包子铺)的email，是回复关于10月16日美国广播公司辱华言论的请愿，说人家
已经道歉啦，也采取措施啦，美宪第一修正案保护言论自由，即使该言论惹人不快; 联
邦政府不能逼迫abc取消该节目; 若不满意，可以去联邦通讯委员会fcc抱屈，他们管电
波，不受白宫左右，云云。
一位朋友说：看了这个声明只想骂娘。鸡毛之事和中国的 peaceful rise 风马牛不相
及，把两个事挂钩，用心险恶。大家要苦练内功，从基层发动更多亚裔选民和政客，反
种族歧视之斗争任重道远。
另一位朋友则回复：你也太对这些官老爷幻想了吧。。。 看这文笔，外交辞令都没有
， 就是一门卫等风平浪静时打发的。。
一位女侠则说：同意。无中生有把这个扯出来，蛮不讲理又别有用心。跟上次波士顿报
纸上那个白痴读者的来信有异曲同工之妙，哈哈。这下大家擦亮眼，不会被那些贴金美
化的语言蒙蔽了，那不是给所有人的。
一位朋友很愤慨地表示：所谓选票民主，就是如果你人数不够，哪怕你的要求正义合理
，也把你当成空气。虽然我是中国人，但这次抗议根本不是中国美国的事情。通篇回应
，有如abc的代言人发言，实在滑稽！他说：也许这和美国民主无关，和低劣的人性有
关。只要简单的一人一票，就永远逃不脱对弱势族群的漠视。
更有朋友提出：那就按照一个加拿大的会员建议的，得绕过“白宫”这个中宣部，直接
到联合国去告。
白宫回信如下：
what we have to say about jimmy kimmel thank you for your petition. your
petition requested an apology from those involved, and to cut the show. the
parties involved have already apologized independently. jimmy kimmel has
apologized on-air, and issued a written apology. abc has removed the skit
from future broadcasts, taken the clip down from online platforms, and
detailed several changes in its programming review process in response to

s apology here. on a broader level, as the president has stated publicly,
the united states welcomes the continuing peaceful rise of china. the
comments you are writing about do not reflect mainstream views of china in
the united states. the federal government cannot force abc to remove this
show. the first amendment of the constitution protects free speech, even if
individuals might personally find it offensive or distasteful. it may be
upsetting when people say things we might personally disagree with, but the
principle of protected free speech is an important part of who we are as a
nation.

the fcc is an independent agency that regulates the airwaves without input
or consideration from the white house.

华人同盟会部分成员已经做的事情1）自10月20日开始，建设抗议活动的各项平台，发
动全美华人进行抗议活动。2）积极参与发动和组织纽约、波士顿、洛杉矶、北卡罗利
市、凤凰城、三番等地的游行。3）接触国内媒体网站，散发我们的文章，宣传我们的
观点。正在接触国内有关部门和企业，积极推荐国内抵制迪士尼的行动。致力于华人孩
子leadership培养的项目，接触中文学校进行试点推广。4）联系麻州参议员，要求对
ABC不负责任的言行的相关责任下岗。5) 四大华人组织协作，发信给联合国，要求对阿
根廷华人进行保护；要求facebook删除阿根廷暴徒召集暴乱的页面；并且协助阿根廷华
人在12月13日的大游行。6）12月14日，纪念南京大屠杀受害者，到张纯如女士墓前献花
悼念
