Hiking Trail: Sam Houston Forest
A loop of Lone Star Trail, Sand Branch Trail, and
Little Lake Creek Trail (Total will be around 12.0 miles)
About the trail: The Sam Houston National Forest, one of four National
Forests in Texas, is located 50 miles north of Houston. The forest contains
163, 037 acres between Huntsville, Conroe, Cleveland and Richards, Texas.
Hiking is a popular way to enjoy the forest and its beauty. This trail is
one part of the lone star hiking trail which is 128-mile.

Plan:
1. 8:45am Gathering/arrange the carpool/heading for the forest (
Chinese Lutheran Church (西南国语教会) (12143 Bellaire Blvd, Houston,
77072)
2. 9:00am Leave for the forest
3. 10:30am Gathering at TH#1, warm up and start hiking
4. It will take around 6 hours to finish. We will have lunch during hiking.
5. Around 4:30-4:45pm we will be back to TH#1 and drive back to Chinatown to
have a big dinner(一起腐败).

Comments:
1. When you join the hiking, everyone should get yourself ready for that
include enough food and water/enough rest/hiking shoes/long sleeves
covering arms and legs/emergency medicine if you need it or anything else
you might need in the forest.
2. Kind mention, there is no restroom is the forest and the range office,
please get yourself comfortable before hiking.
3. Please take some cash with you for dinner and gas. For gas sharing, we
recommend $5 to the driver.
4. Take sunscreen, off or anything you needed for protection
5. Recharge your phone well and prepare everything you need before hiking
