pair / big face cards / connectors (but these should not be right after flop
).
if his hand was very good on the flop (33, 44), he should have re-raised you
, instead of calling and then betting big($60) out of position on the turn
when A showed up.
he should know that A would help you, and you're more likely to call his $60
bet. so he's not afraid of your kicker.
