players become much more stronger on the final table. It is all good.

but for harrah's, they want to get more advertsing income with this delay,
and it was successful last year.
for final table players, it's both good and bad...
bad:
1) their opponents will have a lot of time to improve against them. they'll
play against a "different" player;
2) for some of them, "running hot on a rush" now is priceless. if last year'
s main event was finished in july, i doubt peter eastgate can beat dennis
phillps, who was big chip leader then an

You have enough time to improve your game, maybe free training from some
famous coach. Play some tough games to prepare for it, sth like 100$Rebuy
game online. Practice short table games, review FT strategy, HU skills etc.
You will get sponsored by FTP, PS, or some other websites.(Peter, and Evan
becomes pros on PS, 3 guys becomes pros on FTP)
Study your opponent before rematch.
A big rest is also important for everyone, since this kind of FT will last
over 10 hour

july, because the minimum payout for final table was already 1M+, hehe.
yeah, sponsorship deals are big $$.
for harrah's, they don't care about who's the "best" player at all, they
only care about how to use this delay to generate more commercial revenues.
