as well.
This is the hand happened a few monthes ago in the WPT regional event in
colorado, I was at the time chip leader at the table with about 150K w/ 500/
1000/100 blind level. My opponent is a quite good player sitting around 65K,
who I recently doubled up w/25o aganist his 99 on a 26726 board. We both
like to play a lot of hands and try to outplay/trap our opponent postflop.
I was UTG+1 w/ QJs and raise to 2700. He called on the button. Flop was 982r
and I cbet 5300, he snap call; turn was another 2 completes the rainbow, I
check and he bet 14K,I call; river was a K, I check and he moved allin. I
tanked and called.
What will you do?

I made a similar call recently during a home game with J-high cards, and get
paid off.
For that hand, I think I only had 50-50 confidence to make the call due to 1
)I have much deeper stack 2)a (somewhat) good reading on him based on our pl

我如果有这么多stack，我会在flop什么都没有hit到的情况下check/raise semibluff
try to take down the pot。如果他call，turn上不是10就可以fold了

发帖数: 100 | 5 I took about 5 mins to analyze the hand and made the call, he turned over
67s for a busted straight draw.
It was one of those calls that I don't make very often especially against
ABC players. But against him I know he can make such move with air. The K on
the river actually helped me in making the call since I don't think he is
capable of making a value allin bet w/ hands like A9, TT, etc which more
than likely he would bet about half the pot. On the other hand, he would
likely to push me out of the hand by moving allin with hands like TJ, T7 or
in this case, 67. Also, this is a tourney, so even if I lose, I still have a
significant amount of chips to play and the loose image I created after the
hand can help me get more value in future stage. | d*****0

thin value bet on the river and never shove that huge with nuts.

发帖数: 7793 | 10 对手river balance 可能不好, 我觉得flop balance得可能更不好。 有些TAG players
在flop 上有好牌raise 太多了，几乎100% raise set 和 2 pair like 98 88 22 99。
那样就没有办法保护你在flop 上的calling range 了。 他们在flop上一call, 加上
又很少会thin value bet river. 那么在这种牌面的river里，能rep 的强牌就很少很
少了。
所以如果你喜欢float with air on the flop, 你也应该float 一部分你的强牌。 那
样，你后面几街的bluff 就更有可信度， 因为你可以rep 的牌比较多， 你也可以用
thin value bet 来balance 你的river bluff, 但那就有一点点难度。 当然这是和有
点读牌能力的对手，和鱼打要maximize ev不需要balance, 这我没意见。
