Last several days, quite a few ppl posted their hands against LAG players.
Probably learnd from on-line poker, more and more ppl adopt aggressions more
or less in their games nowadays. I think finding a way to play against LAGs
is one of the keys to be successful in poker, especially if you plan to
move up in the future. Here I throw my thoughts out solely for discussion
purpose. Please be free to criticize and keep the discussion going.

LAGs are probably the toughest players to fight with on poker table since
when playing against them, (1) more often than not you are the one who is in
an awkward situation and has to make tough decision; (2) it is hard to
assign a specific range to LAGs.
After observing a player who pushes hard in a few hands, don't yet label him
as LAG and try to fight back right away. You need to pay more attention to
his play,
(1) Pre-flop: How often does he raise/3-bet and on what position?
(2) Post-flop:
(a) if he is pfr
-- Does he c-bet most time?
-- How often does he 2nd barrel / 3rd barrel?
(b) if he is not pfr (limp/call pfr)
-- How often does he lead out? On dry board or wet board?
-- How often does he c/r? On dry board or wet board?
-- When Does he show aggression post-flop? When someone already
shows strong interest to the pot or when everybody is sort of weak?
By answening all these question, you are able to categorize the player more
precisely, and then are able to play against them more effectively.
IMO, there are three typies of LAGs, semi-LAGs, good-LAGs, and super-LAGs.
Semi-LAGs are not aggressive enough post-flop (shut down on the flop if
missed or rarely 2 barrels). Super-LAGs are usually overly aggressive and
don't know when to stop. Both semi-LAGs and super-LAGs are bad players and
easy to explore because their games are unbalanced one way or another.
Actually sometimes it is more profitable to play against them than against
weak passive players because LAGs give you actions.
To play against LAGs,
(1) semi-LAGs: In theory, ATC can be profitable against them. Don't be
afraid to float them.
(2) super-LAGs: Tight up the pf starting range and be willing to call them
down with marginal hand. Do not show too much strength, let them do the
betting for you. Don't bluff them however value bet them lighter since most
super-LAGs don't have a fold button.
(3) good-LAGs: get away from them. Good-LAGs are the sharks on the table. Go
and find fishes.
Also we need to keep in mind when against LAGs that
(1) IO is more important than IMO. Hence (a) broadway cards are better than
small SCs and small pairs; (b) it is better to play drawing hands fast
(2) DO NOT overly under-value your opponent's range simply because he is LAG
. Actually a LAG player can hit the board harder than you could imagine.
(3) Pay more attention to their betting pattern and timing of aggression. If
it is different from what he usually does, give him credit.
(4) Position, position, position. Try to sit on the left of LAGs. It is much
easier to play agaisnt LAG with position.

Don't me afraid of playing for stack. Can slow play or trap with even just
semi strong hand like top pair good kicker. Fast play even with semi-
strong draws like nut flush draws and try to put in the last raise. They
like to raise for information so we always put in the last raise using draws
with good equity. They like to raise with any draws, we push back with
tpgk type hand when they commit. Endure the variance. I love it when there
are lags on the table. Only when they are willing to put their stack at
risk at all time, can we take it easily away from them.

good say, but no much useful in MTT. In MTT, you can be LAG with superstake
anyhow. It often comes to allin on LAG and hope to hold.
That may be the only way to go, with one exception (flat call with big Pair
at position, float two streets and fold at river if big bet on wet board).

踢过球的人只要看对手几个动作,一停一传,就可以基本判断对方功力。
POKER也类似吧。
