可以看得更清楚。
第二张图是大坝的卫星图，看得出来这个坝是一个重力坝，有一个很宽
的底座。 坝的底座有一百多米宽，说明这个坝有可观的高度。
可以这么说，如果没有大坝拦水，日月潭的面积会比现在的小
很多。
我见过无数的水库，日月潭是我见过的水库之一。

日月潭水庫位於南投縣魚池鄉，原為天然湖泊，於民國23年於其周圍水社、頭社兩地分

我来点评你的其中一句话吧。
“But indeed the original lake was turned into a dam of sort.”
1、谁能把lake变为dam？把湖变成大坝？应该是湖变为水库lake to reservoir.
2、but引导的是一个从句，不能是一个完整的句子。
3、“of sort”应该是of a sort。
随便一句话就出3个错，还不如写中文。您不会是故意要让我们恶心吧，然后你声称辩
论胜利。

如果把“of sort”改为“of a sort”,根据字典的意思，“having some but not all
of the characteristics of something ”
