” and non-“宠儿”? Current Edu minister Zhou Ji is from HUST. But ACTUALLY,
Wu Qidi and Zhou Ji all graduated from “宠儿”univ Prof Li refered to.

嘛.
我想李校长所讲的宠儿学校和同济所处上海不好的环境是指复旦和交大吧,交大能迅速崛
起,复旦在每每下滑之际总能靠吞并他人力量来强大自己,还是某种不公平的势力所控制的
吧,而同济总是倍受冷落和欺压,被迫背上沉重的包袱,想想真是另人气愤!!!
李校长的用心是良苦的,我们作为同济人确实要自信自强并自豪,努力奋斗,将来为我们母
校的振兴而贡献自己的力量.

Your comments are absolutely right. But I don't think Tongji will gain much
credit by Wu's appointment. And she will not have the power to change the 宠儿
and non-宠儿 discrimination during her vice-minstership.

It is our responsibility to do this. We need to think more deeply and rebuild
Tongji in a quite different perspective than Prof Li can vision.
