Hi, friends, I graduated from structural engineering in Tongji. Now I am in
southern california. I heard it is relatively easy to get a job here, however,
I am new here, so could any friends give me some clues how to start the
job-hunting? Thank you very much!

Seems you didn't get a degree from States.
I guess you can first ask your friends or relatives for suggestion.

I think the best way for you is to call those companies directly since you are
already local resident. Good luck.

Don't believe any rumors of job hunting. It might be very easy for some job
applicants to land a well-paid job in your field in south california, and but
it does not mean you will also get a job soon. In most job-hunting cases,
applicants will spend a couple of months in landing a job. I believe the
better way is to contact your alumni working in this area, and they might give
you some good suggestions. In addition, making phone calls is the most direct
and efficient way to start uo your job
